La coincée de L’ imaginaire
Coincé, je traîne mon âme en désespoir,
Parmi ces ombres mortes, alignées sans charme,
Là où l’espoir s’éteint en une triste histoire,
Et le ciel pleure un funeste et froid effroi.Tel le dit de Cros, ume absurde emblème, Que Je demeure enchaîné dans un sort inéluctable, Où se dissipe en vain la lueur d’un décor aimable,
Et je méprise ce rude, implacable système.
Au-delà des murs où nos âmes se traînent,
J’aspire à l’éclat d’un destin plus léger,
Fuyant l’étau où mes vœux se désordonnent.
Pour rompre l’égide d’un ordre imposé,
Un élan de révolte en mon être se hisse, Espérant qu’un jour l’aube vienne tout libérer.
This sonnet marries a time-honored rhythm with a nod to absurdity—using the image of *Le Hareng Saur*—to capture the agony of being stuck with those whose company darkens your spirit. Stuck, I drag my soul in despair,
Among these dead shadows, aligned without charm,
Where hope is extinguished in a sad story,
And the sky cries a fatal and cold fear.
As Cros said, an absurd emblem,
That I remain chained in an inevitable fate,
Where the glow of a loveable decor dissipates in vain,
And I despise this harsh, relentless system.
Beyond the walls where our souls drag,
I aspire to the splendour of a lighter destiny,
Fleeing the vice where my wishes are disordered.
To break the aegis of an imposed order,
An impulse of revolt in my being rises,
Hoping that one day the dawn will come to free everything.
